A traditional two-piece clay barrel roof tile, also called cap and pan or two-piece mission, which Verea calls one of its two best-selling profiles. Offered in Red, Ohio Red, Brown, Graphite, Peach, the aged reds Vintage, Fume and Aneja, and the Jacobea, Capcana and Santiago pre-blends. An Intertek test report on Verea's site records FM 4473 impact testing of the barrel tile with a classification of Class 3, and Verea's technical page states the tile is Class 3 hail rated. Miami-Dade County Notice of Acceptance 22-1202.03, expiring March 13, 2028, covers Verea Barrel Tile Grade 1 manufactured by Tejas Verea S.A., at 19.5 inches long by 8.15 inches wide, to ASTM C1167 Type I Grade 1.
