A manually operated venting unit skylight for deck mounting, opened with a VELUX control rod where out of reach or a turning handle where in reach (both sold separately), and supplied with an operator hook and insect screen. It has a pre-finished white interior wood frame, an aluminum or copper exterior finish and VELUX Standard Safety Glass, and VELUX states it is suitable for roof pitches from 14 to 85 degrees, in ten size codes from C01 (21 1/2 x 27 3/8 in. outside frame) to S06. The curb-mounted counterpart is the VCM. VELUX states a 10-year installation warranty, 20 years on glass, 10 years on product and 5 years on shades and controls for its deck- and curb-mounted skylights.
