A manually opened venting unit skylight for curb-mounted installation, operated with a turning handle in reach or a control rod out of reach, and supplied with an operator hook and insect screen. It has a white interior frame and sash and an aluminum exterior finish, and VELUX lists it for 0 to 60 degree roof pitch, including flat installation. It is offered in seven curb sizes from 2222 to 4646 (inside curb 22 1/2 x 22 1/2 in. to 46 1/2 x 46 1/2 in.), with ECL step flashing for asphalt shingles, wood shakes and flat tile and ECW high-profile flashing for tile. VELUX states a 10-year installation warranty plus 20 years on glass, 10 years on product and 5 years on shades and controls.
