A fixed pan-flashed skylight with pre-installed metal self-flashing designed for a roofing-sealant-based installation on thin roofing materials such as asphalt shingles, with welded and painted flashing joints and a pre-finished white interior wood frame. It is offered in six sizes from 2222 to 4646 (rough opening 22 1/2 x 22 1/2 in. to 46 1/2 x 46 1/2 in.), and factory- installed shades are available. VELUX states 20 years of protection on the standard safety glass, and that units with laminated glass may also qualify for 10 years of hail-breakage protection.
