A fixed (non-opening) unit skylight installed directly on the roof deck, with a maintenance-free, pre-finished white interior wood frame and an aluminum or copper exterior finish. VELUX states the FS is suitable for roof pitches from 14 to 85 degrees and lists it in fourteen size codes, the smallest (C01) at 21 1/2 x 27 3/8 in. outside frame. It ships with VELUX Standard Safety Glass, and the skylight system is completed with a VELUX deck-mounted flashing kit (EDL for shingles and shakes, EDW for tile, EDM for metal). VELUX states a 10-year installation warranty, 20 years on glass, 10 years on product and 5 years on shades and controls for its deck- and curb-mounted skylights.
