SSR is a 360-degree mechanically seamed standing seam metal roof system with 3-inch trapezoidal ribs on a 24-inch panel width, in 22 and 24 gauge, with a minimum slope of 1/4:12. It uses a concealed floating clip and ridge cap design that allows up to 1 5/8 inches of thermal movement, and factory-formed long-length panels. Finishes are acrylic-coated Galvalume or KXL, and listed insulation options are fiberglass blanket, rigid board, thermal blocks, ThermoDeck and ThermaLift. The maker lists UL 90, FM Class 1 approval, ICC-ES ESR-2527 and the Florida Building Code, a 25-year finish warranty, and optional 10- or 20-year Standard, Optima or NDL weathertightness warranties, with certification required for Optima and NDL.
