SLR II is an architectural standing seam metal roof system with 16-inch wide panels and a 2-inch tall, 90-degree single lock seam, in 22 and 24 gauge, for slopes from 1/4:12 up to 4:12. Panels run up to 50 feet long, are factory-notched and carry a factory-applied sealant bead, and a concealed thermally responsive clip allows up to 1 inch of bi-directional movement. Finishes are acrylic-coated Galvalume or KXL, over fiberglass blanket or rigid board insulation. The maker lists UL 90, FM 1-75 and 1-120, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CEGS 07416, and ASTM E283 and E331, a 25-year finish warranty, and optional 10- to 20-year Standard, Optima or NDL weathertightness warranties, with certification required for Optima and NDL.
