SlopeShield Plus SA is a fully self-adhered, primerless air barrier and permeable vapor retarder membrane used as the air and moisture control layer in low-slope roof assemblies (new, reroof and recover, including drying and reusing existing insulation), as an underlayment under steep-slope metal, slate and cedar roofs, and as temporary protection for concrete and mass timber decks. VaproShield prints a 20 mil black membrane rated at 30 perms, in 59 in. by 102 ft rolls, allowing 180 days of exposure before the permanent roof and a service range of -40 F to 300 F, with a 20-year material warranty. Its testing page lists a UL790 / CAN/ULC-S107 fire test as a pass without naming a roof-covering class, and an ASTM E84 Class A surface burning result.
