RoofBlock HT is VaproShield's high-temperature vapor barrier and air barrier roofing underlayment, a high-temperature asphalt compound laminated to a slip-resistant spider-web backing with a release film. It goes under metal, tile, slate, wood, shingles or shakes on sloped roofs, at eaves against ice dams alongside SlopeShield Plus SA, or over the whole deck as a vapor barrier in vented attics, and tolerates heat up to 260 F. VaproShield prints a 40 mil red and white membrane in 36 in. by 75 ft rolls with 60 days of exposure and a 2-year material warranty; its About page separately states a 20-year material warranty and 6 to 12 months of exposure for VaproShield membranes generally.
