Securock UltraLight Glass-Mat Roof Board is a gypsum roof board with a treated, noncombustible core and glass-mat facers, aimed at cover-board use in mechanically attached single-ply systems and at fire and thermal barrier use; USG says the 1/2 and 5/8 inch boards are up to 18 percent lighter than competing glass-mat boards. The submittal sheet prints Class A unlimited slope to UL790 in 1/4, 1/2 and 5/8 inch thicknesses, flame spread 0 and smoke developed 0 (ASTM E84), FM approval to FM 4450 and FM 4470 with FM Class 1, manufacture to ASTM C1177, 700 to 1,000 psi nominal compressive strength, 16 to 18 perms, and 4 by 8 foot boards, with Type X compliance for 5/8 inch. USG's warranty runs 2 years from installation.
