USP NVB (Nailable Venting Base) is a heavyweight fiberglass-mat base sheet saturated with non-filled asphaltic bitumen and coated on the underside with coarse mineral surfacing for underside venting, designed as a mechanically attached base sheet for hot mopped, cold applied and torch applied roofing where specifications call for an ASTM D-4897 Type II fiberglass venting base sheet. The product data sheet classifies it as a Fiberglass BUR Roof Membrane, UL Type G2, lists a 72 lb roll, and states it is UL Classified R11662, Factory Mutual Approved and listed with the Florida Building Code as FL-5305, FL-8077 and FL-14405.
