U.S. Ply's sand-surfaced, self-adhesive SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen membrane, made with a fiberglass mat coated with high-tack SBS-modified asphalt and protected by a poly release film. It is used as a self-adhesive base sheet or interply sheet under torch-applied or hot-asphalt-applied modified bitumen roof systems. The data sheet lists a 1.4 mm (55 mil) thickness, 75 lb rolls of 39-3/8 in x 61 ft, and classification under ASTM D4601 Type II, and it refers approval questions to U.S. Ply.
