U.S. Ply's smooth-surfaced SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen base sheet reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat and fiberglass strands, applied with hot asphalt. It is used as a base sheet or interply sheet in modified bitumen and built-up roof systems. The data sheet lists a 2.3 mm (90 mil) thickness, 88 lb rolls of 39-3/8 in x 49 ft 1 in, and classification under ASTM D6164 Type I, Grade S. It states the product is UL Classified, FM Approved, and listed under Florida Building Code FL-8077 and Texas Department of Insurance RC-123.
