U.S. Ply's smooth-surfaced SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen membrane reinforced with a heavy-duty non-woven polyester mat, applied with hot asphalt or cold adhesive. It is used as a base sheet in modified bitumen roof systems, or as a cap sheet when surfaced with a flood coat of asphalt and gravel. The data sheet lists a 3.0 mm (120 mil) thickness, 88 lb rolls of about one square, and classification under ASTM D6164. It states the product is UL Classified, FM Approved, and listed under Florida Building Code FL-8077 and Texas Department of Insurance RC-123.
