UREA-DEK SYSTEM RC-1 is a single-component aliphatic polyurea liquid adhesive and coating for new or aged smooth or mineral-surfaced roof systems, applied by spray, roller or squeegee and surfaced with white marble roofing aggregate or white roofing minerals. The technical data sheet states the surfacing system meets California Title 24 energy requirements, lists an SRI of 112 for the adhesive and 89 for the surfacing system, and restricts slopes to 3:12, or 2:12 for a Class A fire rating. It lists 2,300 to 2,600 psi tensile strength and 250 to 300 percent elongation (ASTM D412), 130 g/L VOC, a one-year shelf life, and 5-gallon pail and 55-gallon drum packaging. Epoxy primer such as Enviro-Prime #7-WB is required over cold-process BUR, modified asphalt and existing systems, and it is not for use over coal tar systems.
