M-C-THANE 4556 is a liquid-applied, abrasion-resistant elastomeric urethane roofing system for low-slope concrete roofing surfaces subject to mechanical equipment and pedestrian traffic. UPI publishes it in two builds: 4556-60 MIL, an aliphatic urethane system averaging 60 dry mils excluding aggregate, and the heavy-duty 4556-75 MIL, an aliphatic and aromatic system for heavy mechanical equipment traffic. Both specifications call for UI-7012 or UI-7119 epoxy primer, UI-7013 base membrane, UI-7014-HT elastomeric membrane with broadcast silica aggregate, and UI-7016-AL-HS aliphatic urethane top coat. The specifications list ASTM D412 tensile and elongation, ASTM D2240 hardness and ASTM D903 adhesion values for the component coats.
