Uniflex Rust Inhibitive Metal Primer (34-520, red) is a solvent-based alkyd primer containing zinc-chromate, zinc-oxide and red iron oxide for metal, iron and steel where corrosion is a problem, used as an adhesion base for Uniflex elastomeric base and finish coats. The page states it meets Federal Specification TT-P-636D. Its data sheet gives 50 percent volume solids, a 3.2 mil dry film, VOC under 400 g/L, a 101 F minimum flash point, and says it must be topcoated within 90 days. It is sold in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
