Twin Loc-Nail is a two-piece, hammer-driven fastener engineered to secure base sheet, recovery board, and insulation to lightweight insulating concrete, structural wood fiber, and poured gypsum decks: a tapered, coated-steel tube is driven flush to the deck, then a stainless-steel locking staple is driven into the tube, whose legs diverge to anchor the unit; the coated-steel disk is 2.7 inches in diameter. It is offered in 1.4-inch and 1.8-inch lengths, installed with a Twin Loc Driver or Twin Loc Insulation Driver, and the data sheet lists FM Global, Miami-Dade County, and Florida Building Code (FL#: 4500) approvals.
