TRUFAST Induction Weld (IW) Plates are approximately 3-3/8 in. diameter plates stamped from 22 ga. steel with a proprietary coating, used to attach insulation or cover boards to the deck while holding TPO or PVC/KEE/TPA single-ply membranes by an induction-welded bond rather than a penetrating fastener. They are approved for steel, wood and structural concrete decks, are stamped TF with the plate type, and are made in the USA; the product page states they are FM approved and meet FM 4470, and lists Miami-Dade and State of Florida #4500 approvals.
