The TRUFAST 3-inch Metal Insulation Plate is a flat-bottom, AZ-50 Galvalume-coated steel plate with reinforcing ribs used with the TRUFAST #12DP, #14HD, #14HD Bi-Metal Stainless Steel, #15HD, or 1/4-inch Concrete Spike fasteners to mechanically attach insulation, cover boards, and BUR base sheets to the substrate. A deep-recessed version (3-inch Recessed Metal Insulation Plate) is offered to keep screw heads from snagging mops or penetrating the membrane. Both are 0.017 inch thick with a 3-inch diameter and a 0.260-inch hole. The data sheet states both meet ASTM D 6294, FM 4470, and DIN 50018.
