TRUFAST originated the pre-assembled fastener-and-insulation-plate combination, pairing a #12 drill-point, #3 Phillips truss-head screw with a 3-inch Galvalume insulation plate to speed hand attachment of roof insulation to metal and wood decks, installed with a canvas fastener bag, a magnetic setter tool, or a stand-up power tool. The fastener is SAE C1022 heat-treated steel with a Tru-Kote epoxy E-coat; the plate is AZ-50 Galvalume. It is offered in lengths from 1 5/8 inch to 5 inches and carries CE marking under DoP No. DoPTru02-2022-01-03 and European Technical Assessment ETA 19/0616.
