The TRUFAST #12 Purlin Fastener is a self-drilling screw for securing single-ply membrane to structural steel purlins (16 ga. to 3/16 in.) in standing seam metal roof recover work; its 3/4 in. long pilot point is designed to keep the existing roof panel from jacking up the threads while drilling. It is made of heat-treated SAE C1022 steel with a Tru-Kote epoxy e-coat and is listed in nine lengths from 1-3/8 in. to 9-3/4 in.
