Tremco SP Primer is a water-based coating primer prepared from acrylic polymers and adhesion promoters. It improves adhesion of acrylic coatings to single-ply membranes such as EPDM, PVC, PIB and Hypalon, primes TremLastic SP before acrylic latex coatings such as Polarcote FR, and is also used as a primer on metal and masonry. The data sheet states it is asbestos free and meets the National Architectural Coatings regulation and SCAQMD Rule 1113 as a roof coatings primer.
