AlphaGuard MTS Base Coat is a single-component, moisture-triggered-cure liquid roof coating with high solids content, low odor, and low VOC, used as the base layer of the AlphaGuard MT Roof System. It is applied to restore, replace, or waterproof built-up, modified bitumen, coated, and other roof systems, and is positioned by the manufacturer for use in odor-sensitive occupied buildings such as hospitals and schools.
