Snow Bracket is the maker's family of pad-style snow guards, offered in many profiles for slate, shake, cedar shingle, tile and simulated roofing (lettered models A through L plus tile-specific versions for Ludowici, Brava and other profiles). The Snow Bracket F - Classic is a new-construction bracket for cedar shingles, wood shakes, slate and simulated slate, installed with four 2 inch roofing nails or #8 stainless steel screws through the roofing and sheathing, and can be made in custom lengths. Its data sheet lists zinc-coated steel (16 ga), copper (48 oz) and stainless steel (16 ga) and gives overall dimensions of 16 in L x 1-3/16 in W x 3 in H, while the product page lists Paintlok steel in place of zinc-coated steel and gives the width and height the other way round (3 in wide, 1 3/16 in high). Both say it can be powder coated to match the roof.
