CF Shingle is Tilcor's low-profile, stone-coated steel shingle profile designed to resemble traditional asphalt shingles, with a fully concealed fastening (CF) system and a design that allows installation over an existing asphalt shingle roof. Panels measure 52 5/8 in. overall length by 14 9/16 in. width of cover, 20 tiles per square, roughly 141 lb per square, installed at a minimum 3/12 roof pitch. It is covered under Tilcor North America's UL Evaluation Report ER38401-01 (listed as "Shingle CF") for fire classification (ANSI/UL 790 / ASTM E108) and wind uplift resistance (ANSI/UL 1897, ANSI/UL 580) under ICC-ES AC166, and under Texas Department of Insurance Product Evaluation RC-523 for wind load.
