A prefabricated roof curb with built-in adjustable spring isolators for rooftop units, which can ship as a single piece so the unit can be mounted as soon as the curb is set and the roofing completed later. It is built of prime G-90 galvanized steel in 14 to 18 gauge meeting ASTM A653/653M, with fully welded mitered corners, internal bulkheads 48 in. on center, a factory-installed 2 x 4 in. wood nailer, vertical limit stops, and a 9 in. continuous rubber counter flashing around the perimeter over the springs. Spring deflections of 1, 2 and 3 in. are offered, and Thybar specifies a minimum of 90% isolation efficiency at 1 in. deflection.
