Pre-fabricated roof expansion joint and wall cant curbs with flexible bellows for multidirectional movement and a flexible rubber membrane that attaches to the joint and wall cant, to accommodate thermal and seismic movement. The specification calls for prime G-90 galvanized steel, 18 or 14 gauge, with the base plate welded to the shell, internal reinforcement at 36 in. on center maximum, 1 1/2 in. 3 lb. density fiberglass insulation and a factory wood nailer, supplied in 10 ft. lengths at 8 in. above the roof deck or as detailed. Three models are listed: TXJ-1 for insulated roof decks, TXJ-2 for non-insulated and existing roof decks, and TXJ-3.
