A prefabricated, factory-insulated roof curb welded from 14-20 gauge prime G-90 galvanized steel with a factory-installed wood nailer, fully welded and gasketed corners, and 1-1/2" thick 3 lb. density rigid insulation, used to raise and flash roof hatches, skylights or rooftop equipment above the roof deck. Offered as Type TC-1 (insulated decks, mitered 3" cant matched to deck insulation thickness), TC-2 (non-insulated decks, mitered 3" cant) and TC-3 (single-ply roofing with lightweight fill or tapered insulation), in a standard 14" height with optional taller heights, heavier gauge, aluminum or stainless steel construction, burglar bars, single- or double-pitch tops, and chemically treated nailers.
