Tru-R Nailbase is a composite insulation of ASTM C578 Type I molded polystyrene foam laminated to Exposure I OSB with an APA or PFS mark and a span rating of 24/16 or greater under DOC PS 2, listed by Thermal Foams for residential and commercial roof decks and walls. It is supplied 4 ft x 8 ft or in custom sizes, in thicknesses of 2, 4, 6, 7.75, 9.75 and 11.75 inches with R-values at 75 F of 6.4 to 44, with optional single- or dual-direction vent channels, borate-treated foam and FrameGuard-treated OSB. The guide specification calls for nailbase screws, OSB splines and sealant from the manufacturer and a 50-year R-value warranty.
