Thaler's MERS family of flashed rooftop supports for piping, gas lines and conduit, ductwork, lighting and air handling units. Section F of the catalog lists aluminum pipe supports for single or double, plain or insulated pipe (MERS-600A to MERS-650A, including re-roofing versions), gas line and conduit supports, a tiered conduit support, a combined pipe support and cross-over stair, terrace, security and miscellaneous lighting supports, duct supports and air handling unit supports for small, medium and large units, with re-roofing versions of several. The catalog describes a threaded leg giving up to 4 in. of height adjustment, 6061-T6 aluminum filled with injection-molded urethane insulation, stainless steel roller assemblies that let pipes expand and contract, and Thaler preformed metal flashings with EPDM seals that need no caulking, citing CSA B272-93. It says the supports can be taken apart and reused when re-roofing and carries a 20-year warranty against leaks, condensation and defects when installed to Thaler's instructions.
