Thaler's MEF family of roof flashings for conduit, gas pipe and other mechanical and electrical penetrations, built as a metal sleeve with an integral deck flange and EPDM grommet and base seals. Section C of the catalog lists the MEF-1 rigid conduit flashing (for conduit from 0.84 in. to 6.625 in.), MEF-2A liquid-tight flexible conduit flashings with a gooseneck aluminum sleeve and EPDM end cap seal, the MEF-3A hot pipe flashing for pipes from 3 in. to 43 in. with room for 2 in. of mineral wool, the MEF-4A B-vent flashing in aluminum only, MEF-AE rigid and multiple conduit flashings with urethane insulation liners, and the MEF-9 ModCon gas pipe flashing. Most models come in 0.064 in. mill finish aluminum, 24 oz. copper or 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The catalog says most of these flashings conform to CSA B272-93 and carries a 20-year warranty against leaks, condensation and defects, voided by any caulking.
