TRC Aluminum Roof Coating (product code 3035) is a reflective top coating made from asphalt fortified with aluminum flakes, for use over asphalt built-up roofs, roll roofing, metal roofs and asphalt and gravel roofs. The data sheet states the formulation meets ASTM D2824 Type I and that the aluminum pigment meets Federal Specification TT-P-320, Type II, Class C. It lists a bright silver color, 2.9 dry mils at 250 square feet per gallon, and application by brush, roller or spray. Dried-out asphalt roofs are to be primed with MIGHTYPLATE Primer first.
