Tejas Borja Flat-5XL
A large-format stoneware clay flat roof tile, which Tejas Borja calls the largest ceramic roof tile on the market, printing 18 by 20.1 inches, 14.4 lb per piece and a useful width of 18.70 inches, with a variable batten distance of 13.39 to 15.16 inches and a recommended minimum pitch of 30 percent (17 degrees). It is offered mainly in BorjaJET digitally printed finishes and is paired with the Solar Flat-5XL solar tile. ICC-ES report ESR-2111, which Tejas Borja posts on its site, lists its clay tiles as Class A roof coverings when installed per that report; ESR-2111 classifies it as Type III, Grade 1 to ASTM C1167 and limits its headlap, requiring a minimum slope of 3 to 12. The page links an earlier (July 2025) issue of ESR-2111.
