A glass-fiber-reinforced sheet coated with weathering-grade asphalt, for use as the initial or base ply in built-up and modified bitumen roof systems. It can be installed with mechanical fasteners, hot asphalt or cold adhesives. The data sheet gives a 36 in by 108 ft roll covering 300 sq ft at a nominal 72 lb. It lists ASTM D4601 Type II and UL Classification (R13228) for use in Class A and B roofs.
