LeakBarrier FS500 HT is a non-reinforced high-temperature ice and water shield of rubberized asphaltic adhesive surfaced with a cross-laminated HDPE film treated for skid resistance, white-coloured for a cooler working surface, for valleys, ridges, coping joints, chimneys, vents, dormers, skylights and other flashing areas and for metal and mechanically fastened tile roofs. The data sheet prints a 40 mil thickness, a 55 lb nominal roll weight, compound stability to 250 F, flexibility to -22 F, passing ASTM D1970 results for nail sealability, slip resistance and lap-seam integrity, and up to 180 days of exposure; the web page gives adhesion to plywood at 75 F as 20 lb/ft of width, the data sheet as 15.
