LeakBarrier EasyLay UDL Builder Grade is Tarco's lightest synthetic roof underlayment, a value-priced woven polymeric scrim with a walkable surface designed as an alternative to 15-lb asphalt-saturated felt under shingles. The January 2026 product information sheet prints a 7 mil nominal thickness, 10-square rolls at 19 lb nominal, up to 90 days of exposure and passing results to ASTM D8257 test methods for hydrostatic resistance, pliability at 14 F, dimensional change, thermal cycling and post-accelerated weathering, and states it meets ASTM D8257 and is engineered to comply with IBHS FORTIFIED Roof requirements for synthetic underlayments. Tarco offers a 20-year limited material warranty.
