LeakBarrier EasyLay UDL 15 is a value-priced mechanically attached synthetic roof underlayment of a woven polymeric scrim with a textured walking fabric on top, designed as an alternative to asphalt-saturated felt under shingle, shake, slate and metal in new and re-roofing work. The January 2026 product information sheet prints an 8 mil nominal thickness, 48-inch by 250-foot rolls covering 10 squares at 22 lb nominal, up to 90 days of exposure, and says it meets and/or exceeds ASTM D226 Type I and II, carries Florida Building Code approval FL #16884 and Texas Department of Insurance approval, and is engineered to comply with IBHS FORTIFIED Roof requirements for synthetic underlayments. Staples may not be used to attach it. Tarco offers a 20-year limited warranty.
