TAMKO TWM-1 Mastic is a trowel-grade, black rubberized bitumen mastic that dries to a pliable seal allowing for minor expansion and contraction. It is sold in 3 gallon pails and applied with a trowel to a 1/8 in. thickness and a width of 1/2 in. to 1 in. TAMKO lists it for finishing the edges of seams, overlaps, patches and terminations of TAMKO waterproofing membranes, and states it is also suitable for roof flashing applications in wet and dry conditions. The data sheet states it is not a waterproofing concrete or masonry sealer and is not a substitute for the seal of the membrane itself.
