TW Underlayment is TAMKO's flexible self-adhering SBS-modified bitumen roofing underlayment with a textured, skid-resistant polymer film surface and a treated release film, for use under metal roofs, mechanically fastened tile, slate, wood shakes and asphalt or composite shingles. The data sheet gives a 39 3/8 in. x 61 ft. roll (200 sq. ft.), a minimum 40 mil thickness, application at 40 degrees F and higher, up to 120 days of exposure, and a 5-year limited warranty and arbitration agreement; it warns against use over unvented spaces or spray-foam-insulated decks and calls for a design professional before use under copper roofing.
