Tam-Seal Roof Patch Cement is a heavy-bodied asphalt roof cement in a 10.5 oz cartridge, formulated from asphalts, petroleum solvents and reinforcing fibers with modifiers for bonding to damp surfaces. It is used in new construction, maintenance and repair, including securing shingles, and yields about 25 linear feet per tube with a 1/4 in bead. Typical properties listed are 75 to 85 percent total solids and a maximum VOC of 300 g/L. The data sheet lists compliance with ASTM D4586 Type I and ASTM D3409.
