Synthetic Guard Plus is TAMKO's woven synthetic underlayment with a coated polypropylene spun-bond non-woven walking surface, a slip-resistant backside coating and printed lay lines and fastener locations for standard and high-wind applications, for use under asphalt, metal or composite shingles. The June 2025 data sheet gives a 42 in. x 286 ft. roll (9.06 squares) and a 90-day exposure limit, and lists a 20-year limited warranty and arbitration agreement; its ASTM E108/UL 790 Class A result applies when installed under asphalt shingles. TAMKO's accessories page describes a grey backside coating while the data sheet says black.
