TAMKO's polymer-modified impact-rated laminated shingle. Double-layer laminated fiberglass mat construction with premium asphalt modified by ForceFX polymer technology, the Rapid Fire Zone expanded nailing zone, and the AnchorLock reinforced nail line that supports a 160 mph WindGUARD High Wind Limited Warranty. Offered in Class 3 (FLEX 3) and Class 4 (FLEX 4) UL 2218 impact ratings, and installable at temperatures down to 25 F.

StormFighter FLEX 4 shingles are classified by UL for compliance with UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance (FLEX 3 carries UL 2218 Class 3). TAMKO's data sheet notes UL 2218 testing uses a dropped steel ball, which may not correlate with real-world hail impact. Homeowners should confirm Class 4 premium-discount eligibility with their insurer.
