Moisture Guard is TAMKO's mineral-surfaced, self-adhering SBS-modified asphalt underlayment on a fiberglass mat, with a split release film and selvedge release tape, used at eaves, rakes, valleys, ridges and around chimneys, dormers, vents and skylights under tile, wood shake, asphalt, slate or composite shingles; TAMKO does not recommend it under metal roofing. The data sheet gives 36 in. rolls of 32 ft. 3 in. and 64 ft. 6 in. (0.87 and 1.74 sales squares), 55 mils thick, a 90-day exposure limit, application at 40 degrees F and higher, and a 5-year limited warranty and arbitration agreement.
