QUIK-SHIELD 1929R is a high-solids, heat-resistant, water-based elastomeric roof coating made from 100% acrylic polymers, used to protect roofs from weathering, aging and ultraviolet exposure. Its data sheet lists 65% solids by weight, 55% by volume, elongation at break of 255% at 0 F and 200% at 75 F, and compliance with ASTM D6083. It can be applied by brush, roller or airless sprayer over spray foam, metal, concrete and compatible existing surfaces. It comes in white and buff, in 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes, and SWD offers registered 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-year roof warranties under its separate roofing warranty terms.
