QUIK-SHIELD 1929F is a flame-retardant, water-based elastomeric roof coating made from 100% acrylic polymers, with 65% solids by weight and 55% by volume, applied by brush, roller or airless sprayer. Its data sheet lists compliance with ASTM D6083 and an E84 flame spread index of 10. ICC-ES report ESR-2532 evaluates it as the top coat, with ceramic granules, of SWD's QUIK-SHIELD coated foam roof systems, which reach Class A or Class B depending on the assembly (ASTM E108 / UL 790). The white coating is rated under CRRC listing 0658-0001 with a solar reflectance of 0.69, thermal emittance of 0.87 and SRI of 84; it also comes in buff, in 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes. SWD offers registered 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-year roof warranties under its separate roofing warranty terms.
