Cedar ridge caps made by S&W Forest Products from its cedar shingles, in Number 1 Grade, 18 in. length, 0.45 in. thickness and 5 in. width, with a 5.5 in. roof exposure, under its Certi-Ridge brochure. Fire-retardant and CCA preservative treatment are available. S&W's product page describes these shingle caps as having split faces and sawn backs, while its other shingle pages describe cedar shingles as sawn on both sides. The page advertises S&W's 30/50 year warranty, but the warranty's own schedule does not list ridge caps.
