Shingle Saver is a single-component urethane-acrylic hybrid coating used to protect existing asphalt shingle and granulated cap sheet roofs, re-adhere mineral granules, and seal weathering cracks in skylight lenses. It goes on milky white and dries amber clear, applied by roller, brush, pump sprayer or airless sprayer in at least 2 to 3 coats for a finished dry film of about 3 mils. The data sheet lists coverage of 300 to 350 sq ft per gallon per coat, 1,350 psi tensile strength, 130% elongation and a VOC of 2.15 lb/gal. It is sold in 1 and 5 gallon containers, 50 gallon drums and 280 gallon totes.
