EXOSTK-NW 40MIL is STINGER's high-temperature self-adhering underlayment: an SBS modified bitumen compound laminated to a grey non-woven polypropylene fabric with a split silicone release film, sold as a secondary water barrier under asphalt shingles, metal, slate and tile. The experience sheet prints a 40-mil nominal thickness by ASTM D5147, 36-inch by 67-foot rolls covering two squares, a pass on ASTM D1970 nail sealability and on ICC AC48 low-temperature flexibility, adhesion to plywood of 7.5 lbf at 40 degrees F and 12 lbf at 75 degrees F by ASTM D903, a water permeance of 0.01 by ASTM E96, a 260 degree F maximum temperature rating, 180 days of UV resistance and compatibility with foam adhesive.
