Summit is a 29 gauge ribbed steel panel for roofs and walls, originally made for agricultural, post-frame, garage-interior and liner applications and now also used on homes and cottages. It is custom-cut full length (the product page gives up to 28 ft) with an anti-siphon water-channel system, and can be installed over plywood sheeting or over 1 x 4 inch horizontal strapping, including over existing shingles with strapping. Steel Tile publishes a limited 40-year SMP paint-film warranty, with shorter terms for Bright Red; its colour and chalk limits run 30 years.
